Not to be outdone by T-Mobile's very tempting half-price rebate, Verizon is upping its Pixel game by offering up to $300 on eligible trade-ins. Verizon may have the carrier angle locked down as the exclusive Pixel partner right now, but the availability of unlocked Pixels via Google and Project Fi means now is not the time to take their big red eye off the ball.

All you have to do is hit up Verizon's website and add a Pixel or Pixel XL with monthly device payments to your cart. During the checkout process you'll see the option to have your current phone appraised for its condition and eligibility in the trade-in program.

The phones eligible for the maximum $300 value are the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 Edge+, the HTC One M9, iPhone 6, LG G4 and LG V10. Once you pass through the checkout, you'll get your Pixel shipped, along with a box in which to return your old phone.

According to Verizon: "New customers will receive a VZW electronic gift card within 2 weeks and existing customers will receive an account credit in 1-2 billing cycles". That account credit will be applied in increments over 24 months.

As far as Verizon plans go, the 32 GB Google Pixel will set you back $27.08 a month over 24 months (not including the trade-in credit). The 128 GB version costs $31.23 a month over 24 months. Outright, the 32 GB Pixel costs $649.99 and the 128 GB Pixel is priced at $749.99.

If you'd prefer the larger Pixel, the cost of a 32 GB Pixel XL is $32.08 a month over 24 months or $769.99 outright. The 128 GB Pixel XL costs $36.24 a month over 24 months or $869.99 outright.
