  • A pair of recently posted hands-on images showed the OnePlus 6 in black and white/gold.
  • This is the first time we have seen the white and gold variant of the OnePlus 6.
  • OnePlus will unveil the upcoming flagship May 16 in London.

Even though rumors and leaks already gave us an idea of what the upcoming OnePlus 6 will look like, recent hands-on images looks to cement that idea ahead of the phone's official reveal.

Indian film actor, producer, and television host Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to post a few images of himself and OnePlus CEO Pete Lau as they used the OnePlus 6. This is the first time we have seen OnePlus' flagship in its supposed white and gold trim, though the phone will also come in black.

The images re-confirm the OnePlus 6's glass and aluminum build, a departure from the OnePlus 5 and 5T's all-metal builds. Unfortunately, the images do not reveal whether the upcoming flagship will support wireless charging.

To recap, the phone reportedly features a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, dual primary cameras, and a headphone jack.

The OnePlus 6 also adopts the controversial notch design at the top, though there is an option to "turn off" the notch in settings. Finally, the phone might be the first OnePlus device to launch above $500.

We will learn everything there is to know about the OnePlus 6 during its May 16 unveiling in London.
