You can now sign up for Android P Beta

Android Developer Preview DP2 has been just around the corner for a bit, and now you can enroll in the new public Android Beta in anticipation of new OS version's rollout.

With Android Beta you don't have to manually install anything. The latest version of Android P will automatically come to you via an OTA. There are a few prerequisites. You need a compatible phone: the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, or Pixel 2  XL. You also have to sign up, which is as easy as clicking this link.

While the files needed to sideload aren't available just yet, we will be sure to let you know as soon as they are. Signing up doesn't mean the update will start instantly, but odds are it will arrive later today.

Keep in mind Android P DP2 is still an early build. In other words, we don't recommend using it on your daily driver.

Have you signed up yet? Let us know in the comments when the OTA starts rolling out to your device.
