Since so many Android smartphone manufacturers are keen to eliminate the headphone jack, wireless headphones are becoming a necessity. The problem is that the good sets that will sound great and look good are usually really expensive.
Not today! Right now, via Amazon, you can get a set of Sony wireless headphones that feature digital noise-canceling technology for only $123. That's a savings of a whopping $127 off the $250 list price.
The headphones are available through Amazon Prime, so Prime members get free shipping, too.
Android Authority doesn't usually review headphones, so we don't have any first-hand experience of how these cans measure up. However, the Amazon reviews are mostly positive, and a lot of those reviews are based on the $250 price, not the $123 price.
According to the listing, the headphones get up to 22 hours of battery life from one charge and feature NFC for quick Bluetooth pairing. There's also an extra bass feature to pump up the low end, if you're into that sort of thing.
However, the headphones don't have touch controls, which many headphones come with nowadays. That makes these 'phones a little more basic than you might like, but they'll get the job done.
Finally, the headphones come in two different colors – black and a dark green – and both colors are eligible for the $123 price. Take your pick!
