Deal: Verizon offers two phones for the price of one for Father’s Day

If your dad is somehow still using that aging Samsung Galaxy S4, first wonder how that is possible and then look toward Verizon to see if the carrier's buy-one-get-one deals for Father's Day are anything you're interested in.

For a limited time, you can pick up the Samsung Galaxy S9, Google Pixel 2, Moto Z2 Force, or LG G7 ThinQ and get a second one for free. You cannot mix and match smartphones, so you must get two of the same device.

Keep in mind that you still have to buy both smartphones with a new line of service. The discount is provided as a bill credit that covers the cost of the second smartphone over 24 months, though you are still on the hook for the other smartphone.

Finally, the deal is available for upgrades and those who switch to Verizon.

Alternatively, you can pick up other flagship smartphones and get a discount on a second smartphone. For example, buying the Galaxy S9 Plus nets you $799.99 off either the Galaxy S9 Plus or regular Galaxy S9. If you get the Pixel 2 XL, you get $649.99 off either a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL.

The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a $799.99 discount for a second Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9, or Galaxy S9 Plus. Finally, the LG V30 nets you a $750 discount for a second V30 or G7 ThinQ.

According to Verizon, the deals are available for a "limited time." You can grab them at the link below.
