The Google Pixel 3 might be the hot topic of conversation at the moment, but let's not forget about the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. Although both are a year old now, they are still terrific phones with access to fast Android updates and featuring one of the best cameras in the industry.
With the release of the Pixel 3, you can get Pixel 2 devices for cheap. As an example, Best Buy is running a deal right now which gets you $300 off a Verizon-activated Pixel 2 device of your choice. That means you could nab yourself a brand new Google Pixel 2 for as low as $350.
There are two caveats to the deal. The first is that you must buy a Verizon-activated model on a monthly installment plan, which means you either need to already be a Verizon customer or be willing to sign up for Verizon service. The other caveat is that there is no shipping option — you can buy the device online, but you have to go to a local Best Buy to get it.
If you can handle those two caveats, here is what you'll pay for your brand new Google Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL:
- Google Pixel 2 (64GB, Just Black) — $14.58 per month for 24 months, for a total price of $350
- Google Pixel 2 (64GB, Kinda Blue) — $14.58 per month for 24 months, for a total price of $350
- Google Pixel 2 (128GB, Just Black) — $18.74 per month for 24 months, for a total price of $450
- Google Pixel 2 XL (64GB, Just Black) — $22.91 per month for 24 months, for a total price of $550
- Google Pixel 2 XL (64GB, Panda) — $22.91 per month for 24 months, for a total price of $550
- Google Pixel 2 XL (128GB, Just Black) — $27.07 per month for 24 months, for a total price of $650
If you decide to forego the monthly installment plan, unfortunately, you'll pay the full retail price for the phone.
