Google is making some tweaks to Search to keep you up-to-date on the 2016 U.S. elections. With these updates, you can easily look up the positions of the different candidates, check in on primary results, and get voting reminders for your own primary.
When searching for a candidate, your Google results page will now feature a brief rundown of that candidate, along with links to their stances on issues. You can also search terms like "Marco Rubio economic policies" so see a summary of that candidate's stance on that particular set of issues, including news articles and quotes.
You can now check in on the results of various primaries using Google Search. Search "primary results" to get the most recent delegate count for each candidate. Check in on the results of a specific primary or caucus with queries like "Iowa Caucus".
Finally, you can stay informed with Google Now cards. These new cards will bring you the latest news from the election. Cards will tell you when a candidate wins a primary, and you can also get cards that will remind you to vote in your local primary election. This feature, as well as the primary results search functionality, are available in both English and Spanish.
