The LG G6 is finally here, and it's a really great phone. With an 18:9 Quad HD display, Snapdragon 821, a new dual camera setup and Google Assistant on board, this is certainly turning out to be one of the hottest phones of the year.
So, when can you actually buy this phone? The LG G6 will officially be available in the United States on Friday, April 7, while availability in Korea begins March 10 starting at 899,800 won (~$795).
We've also rounded up as much information as we could on European, Canadian and Australian pricing and availability, which you can find below. It's worth noting that not all carriers around the world have announced specific availability details, but we'll update this post as we learn more.
LG G6 U.S. availability
If you're interested in the LG G6 and happen to live in the U.S., you can now pre-order the device from AT&T and Sprint, and buy the G6 from Verizon. T-Mobile has also just announced that pre-orders will begin on Wednesday, March 22. If you're interested, feel free to head to the links attached below to pre-order the device from your carrier of choice. U.S. Cellular has announced their plans to carry the device, but specifics haven't been revealed yet. We will update this section as more information arises.
Verizon
You can now buy the LG G6 from Verizon starting today. The G6 will cost $28 per month for 24 months, or $672 outright.
If you're not keen on spending almost $700 on a new smartphone, there are a few promotions going on that may help soften the blow. For starters, you'll be able to get a free 43-inch LG Smart TV ($350 value) when activating the G6 on a new line with device payment on Verizon Unlimited.
In addition, you can get up to $200 towards your purchase when trading in select devices and activating a G6 on a device payment plan with a new line or upgrade on Verizon Unlimited. Eligible trade-in devices include the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, SE, HTC 10, LG G4, G5, V10, V20, Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Play, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S7 and S7 Edge.
AT&T
Starting tomorrow, March 17, you can pre-order the LG G6 on AT&T's Next program for $24 a month for 30 months, or on an AT&T Next Every Year plan at $30 a month for $24 months. The device will officially be available from the carrier on Friday, April 7.
As mentioned above, you'll receive a free Google Home when you buy from AT&T before April 30.
T-Mobile
The LG G6 is officially launching on T-Mobile starting Friday, April 7, with pre-orders starting on Wednesday, March 22. You'll be able to pick up the new device for $650 off contract, or for $26 down and $26 per month over a 24-month period. Of course, as stated above, you'll also receive a free Google Home if you place your order before Sunday, April 30.
Sprint
The LG G6 goes up for pre-order from Sprint in Ice Platinum and Black color options starting Friday, March 17, and will be officially available on April 7 both online and in-store. You'll be able to buy the device for $29.50 per month with 24 monthly installments.
Sprint is one-upping Verizon by offering customers who pre-order the G6 a free 49-inch 1080p LG HDTV ($349.99 value) with their purchase. Not only that, the carrier's Google Home promotion also lasts longer than others. You'll get a free Google Home if you buy the device through May 11, while the other carriers' cutoff date is April 30.
Sprint notes that this is the carrier's first HPUE-enabled (High Performance User Equipment). Customers who use an HPUE-enabled phone will get increased coverage, faster network speeds and more. For more details on HPUE and all of these G6 promotions, head to this link.
U.S. Cellular
U.S. Cellular has confirmed that it will carry the G6, as well, though no pricing or availability details have been announced yet.
LG G6 Europe availability
According to a listing on Europe's Media Markt, the G6 will retail for €750 in Germany. You can currently pre-order the phone on the site in Black, White and Platinum color options. MobileFun also has the device up for pre-order starting at £699.
Vodafone
Vodafone has announced its plans to carry the LG G6. And you guessed it, more availability details will be revealed at a later date.
LG G6 Canada availability
Videotron
The G6 is coming to Canada's Videotron on Friday, April 7 for $199.95 on a two-year contract, with monthly plans starting at $79.95. In addition, the carrier will throw in a free LG PH3 Bluetooth speaker ($89.95 value) if you pre-order the device between March 15 and April 7.
LG G6 Australia availability
According to Ausdroid, the LG G6 is making its way to Australia on March 28, with Telstra grabbing the carrier exclusive on the phone.
