Xiaomi Mi A1 with dual-camera setup and stock Android now available in India

The Mi A1, Xiaomi's first Android One smartphone, is now on sale in India. It's available on the company's online store and Flipkart as well as at various offline retailers: Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, LOT, UniverCell, E-Zone, Croma, and Vijay Sales. The device will set you back Rs. 14,999 and can be yours in black or gold.

As a refresher, the Mi A1 was officially announced a week ago and really does offer good value for money. It's a mid-range handset that sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. It has 4 GB or RAM and 64 GB of storage that you can expand with a microSD card in case you need more.

One of the main features of the device is its dual-camera setup on the back with a 12 MP wide-angle and 12 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. Additionally, the setup allows you to capture those fancy bokeh images that have a blurred background.

The smartphone also comes with a 5 MP selfie snapper, a 3,080 mAh battery, and a metal body. Of course, as this is an Android One smartphone, it ships with a stock version of Google's OS on board — Nougat. So if you like Xiaomi devices but aren't a big fan of its MIUI user interface, this is the one you should get.
