10 best Android games of the week, plus what’s coming soon!

Welcome to our weekly roundup of the latest and greatest new Android games released on the Google Play Store! Below you'll find what we feel are the top Android games of the week, plus a list of upcoming Android games that should be released in the next few weeks.

Best new Android games this week

Minit lighthouse

1. Minit

Minit is a unique adventure game that came out last year on the Nintendo Switch. It plays in 60-second spurts, making it perfect for short Android gaming sessions. It can be completed in a few hours, but there are many secrets to discover and bonus challenges in a New Game+.

2. Human: Fall Flat

The PC and console hit is finally hitting mobile. Wacky physics-based puzzles are the name of the game here, with online play to top things off.

3. Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator

This hilarious dad-themed parody-but-not-really-a-parody dating sim from Game Grumps came out on Steam a while back. In it, you design your own dad and romance other single dads. It's fantastic, but try it out for free if you don't believe us.

4. Another Eden

From the creators of Chrono Trigger, this JRPG features a ton of content and a solid story. It came out earlier this year in the U.S., but now it's available in Europe and South East Asia. Check out our full Another Eden review.

5. Graveyard Keeper

TinyBuild and Lazy Bear Games team up again for a pixel-art graveyard simulation game. Think Stardew Valley, but with corpses. The mobile port appears to have a few launch-day bugs, but hopefully those will be sorted out quickly. The good news it that it appears you can transfer your save from PC.

6. RFS – Real Flight Simulator

This one isn't technically new or released, but our very own Dhruv Bhutani is hooked. It's one of the most realistic flight simulators on Android, with option in-app subscriptions that add real-time weather and topographical data from Google Maps. It's currently unreleased, but you can still download it above.

7. BTS World

Netmarble developed this game starring the popular K-pop band BTS. It's a visual novel-style game where go back in time to when it all began. If you're not a fan of the group, this one will leave you in dire need of a cold shower.

8. Bring You Home

Bring You Home is a family-friendly puzzle game with a cute aesthetic. You need to swipe sections of the screen in order to get the Lemmings-esque character to safety. It was released on iOS in January.

9. Smite Blitz (open beta)

Hi-Rez attempted to capitalize on the popularity of their PC MOBA Smite with a mobile strategy RPG. It's a fairly standard mobile game with summon mechanics, but you can earn rewards for your PC Smite account if you're into that kind of thing.

10. Magia Record

This game is based on the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and features a similar combat system to Fate Grand Order. Grab it if you just can't get enough magical girls in your life.


New Android games — coming soon

Stranger Things 3 the game

1. Stranger Things 3: The Game

Get hyped for the latest season of the Netflix series Stranger Things with the official mobile game.

2. The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot

Ubisoft killed the PC version of this game back in 2016, but soon you'll be able to play the action packed dungeon crawler on your Android device.

3. Dr. Mario World

The classic spin-off series Dr. Mario is back on mobile devices. It looks similar to other match-3 games, but with an unmistakable Super Mario charm.

4. Dark Sword 2

Smash hit indie action RPG Dark Sword is getting an official sequel. It promises to deliver even more content than the original, and offline play.

5. Dead by Daylight

This mobile port of the 2016 horror game is coming some time in 2019. We don't know much yet, but fans of survival horror games can pre-register on the official website.

6. One Punch Man: Road to Hero

An officially licenced arena-battle game was announced recently, with all your favorite characters from the series.

7. Fist of the North Star ReVIVE

Follow along the original story of the anime in this newly announced mobile game. Expect untold levels of manliness and cheesy one-liners.

8. Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall

Remember when what was beyond the wall was actually scary? Forget about the events from the the final season of Game of Thrones and hop back in time to defend the wall from all kinds of horrors.

9. RPG Asdivine Kamura

This is the latest upcoming release from the prolific JRPG studio Kemco. If you've heard of Kemco, you know why you should be looking forward to this one.
