The Google Nest Hub Max is the latest smart display from the search giant, offering a larger screen compared to the original Home Hub. Google announced the Max model in May, but we haven't received a firm release date after the company skipped the original July 15 launch window.
Now, Droid-Life has spotted a September 9 release date for the Google Nest Hub Max on the Google Store Help page. Furthermore, the support page noted that it would launch in Australia, the U.K., and the U.S. (with the exception of Puerto Rico).
Google has since removed the launch date from the support page, now displaying "coming soon" for the smart display. But Droid-Life managed to take a screenshot of the original release date anyway (seen above).
The Nest Hub Max differs from the Home Hub thanks to its larger, 10-inch display (the Home Hub had a 7-inch screen), front-facing camera, security camera functionality, and better speakers.
Google's latest smart display is set to retail for $229 and 219 pounds in the U.S. and U.K. respectively. Meanwhile, the standard Home/Nest Hub has a $99 price tag. Would you buy a smart display? Let us know in the comments!
