Here's how much the Sony Xperia X series costs in the U.S. — and when you'll be able to buy

U.S. pricing and release date info for the Sony Xperia X, X Performance, XA and XA Ultra.

As the first phones in Sony's new Xperia X series approach launch, we're able to tell you more about exactly when you'll be able to pick up Sony's latest handsets in the United States, and how much they'll set you back. Since the firm hasn't yet announced any carrier partnership, the only way to pick up the Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, Xperia XA or Xperia XA Ultra is SIM-free and unlocked directly from Sony.

Check out the table below to see how things break down. The short version is that while the XA models are relatively affordable, both Xs will set you back a pretty penny. The Xperia X will be first to launch on June 26, followed by the XA and X Performance in mid-July, rounded out by the XA Ultra on July 24.

Phone Release Date Price
Xperia X June 26 $549.99
Xperia XA July 17 $279.99
Xperia X Performance July 17 $699.99
Xperia XA Ultra July 24 $369.99
