If you have been considering getting a smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S3 may be the one for you. Why is that? Not only is it an all-around great watch, it's also just received a pretty decent price cut!
Samsung has discounted both the Gear S3 Classic and Frontier (Bluetooth) models to just $299.99, which is a $50 discount. And if you need something with a mobile data connection, Sammy has you covered there, too. The Gear S3 Frontier (4G LTE) model for AT&T now costs just $299.99 ($50 off), while that same model for T-Mobile is now going for $349.99 ($50 off).
As a refresher, the Classic and Frontier versions of the Samsung Gear S3 are more or less identical in terms of specs. They both offer a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED fully circular display and sport a 380 mAh battery. The smartwatches run Samsung's Tizen OS and feature a rotating bezel that makes it a lot easier to use them, as you don't have to constantly tap on the small screen to get things done.
The major difference between the two devices is the way they look. The Gear S3 Classic comes across as more elegant, while the Frontier version looks more rugged. The Frontier also features LTE connectivity, which you currently won't find on the Classic model, but is expected to be available soon.
