- Motorola's Moto G6 is now available through Amazon.
- The phone joins the online retailer's Prime Exclusive phones, which are only available for Amazon Prime members.
- Motorola announced the Moto G6 alongside the Moto E5 family in Brazil in late April.
Announced near the end of April, Motorola's standard Moto G6 is now available through Amazon as part of the online retailer's growing collection of Prime Exclusive smartphones.
The Moto G6 is available for $235 in either Black or Oyster Blush. As with other Prime Exclusive phones, Motorola's offering includes a handful of pre-installed Amazon apps. One of those apps is Alexa, which you can access with a double press of the power button.
As a refresher, the Moto G6 features a 5.7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080, 12MP and 5MP dual camera setup around back, and a fingerprint sensor around front.
Elsewhere, the Moto G6 includes the Snapdragon 450 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000mAh battery. There is no wireless charging, though the phone features a headphone jack and TurboPower quick charging through the USB Type-C port.
Finally, the Moto G6 runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Expect slow and inconsistent Android updates over time, though the phone's price makes Motorola's update track record more tolerable.
If you want a straightforward Android smartphone and do not mind slower updates, the Moto G6 should definitely be on your shortlist. You can pick up the phone at the link below.
