Following the Android Pie rollout to the Razer Phone 2 yesterday, the company is now gearing up to give the handset a significant price cut (via GSMArena). The Razer Phone 2 will tomorrow (March 1) be reduced to $499 — $300-off the regular $799 price.
The limited offer will apparently be available at Razer's online store as well as selected retailers. The discount followers a week after Razer confirmed staff layoffs from its mobile division.
The handset comes with a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 5.7-inch QHD display with 120Ghz refresh rate. In our Razer Phone 2 review, we praised the gaming phone's build quality, battery life, and its price, though were disappointed by the lack of a headphone jack and found its camera to be comparatively weak.
