Plan Picks: Galaxy S9 for $5/month when you switch to Sprint

Sprint Logo Galaxy S9 Flex Lease

You read it right, folks. Sprint is practically giving away the Samsung Galaxy S9 right now. You have to give it back after 18 months of course, but by then you've had your fun.

With the Sprint Flex Lease, you can pick up a Galaxy S9 for just $5 per month. That's 80 percent off the usual asking price.

$5? You talkin' crazy Sprint!

It's pretty awesome, right? I spend more than that on hot sauce each month.

Just because the S10 is around, we shouldn't forget what a great phone the Galaxy S9 is. If you wanted to buy one you'd still be talking $400 or more, so to rent one over 18 months — about the amount of time you stick with each phone anyway — for a total of $90 is a steal.

Credit is applied within two bill cycles and you need approved credit to sign up in the first place, but other than that it's catch-free.

This offer only applies if you're switching to Sprint, so you'll need a new line of service too. Plans start from around $40 per month.

What if I stretch to $10 a month…

Great! The S9 isn't the only Samsung Galaxy model on offer right now.

For $10 per month, you could pick yourself up a Galaxy S10e. For just $15 per month, you can get as far as the Galaxy S10. These phones and others are a fraction of the normal lease price.

It's the same conditions on all the leases, except with the S10 range of phones you get the added perk of the Galaxy Forever scheme. This lets you trade in your phone for the latest model after 12 months of your lease.

You'll be sporting the shiniest new smartphone on the market every year until your bones are creaking and the Galaxy S56 in your hand is downloading your thoughts.
