- Google Fit for Android and iOS now includes YouTube videos for physical and mental fitness.
- The videos should reach the app this week.
Google Fit isn't just tracking your fitness routines — it's now guiding you through those routines.
Google is updating the Fit apps for Android and iOS with access to "Stay Fit #WithMe" playlists on YouTube that guide you through workouts, meditation, and general wellbeing. You won't have to hunt down YouTube fitness channels or subscribe to a service to get expert guidance for weight training or a yoga session.
The feature should reach Fit apps this week in any country where YouTube playlists are available. This won't fill in for live classes or other constantly updated workout services, but it should serve you well if you're determined to stay in shape while the pandemic keeps most gyms closed.
