Epic custom PCs: the Iron Throne, a working beer dispenser PC, and more

Game of THrones custom PC case

Custom case builds are pretty much everywhere at Computex 2019. From spaceship cases to a giant Heineken computer, there's a lot of really cool rigs here. However, for Game of Thrones fans, this Iron Thone computer probably takes the cake.

Powered by an Asus ROG Strix 2390-I gaming motherboard, an Intel processor, and a water cooling system from Bitspower, this is without a doubt an impressive machine. Unfortunately, it's not something you can buy. Bitspower is showcasing the custom build at their booth, built by Korean modder YJ Mod.

If you're a PC gamer you are probably pretty familiar with the importance of a great case when you're building a custom rig. The right case keeps things cool while also looking totally badass. Most of us stick to pre-made cases to get the job done, but there's certainly plenty of folks that take things to the next level. While the Iron Throne PC is my absolute favorite custom PC here at Computex (because I'm a GoT fan, despite the ending!) below are a few other cool case designs that stand out.

All these cases were either part of various competitions from PC component brands or were built to showcase various company's components, but all of them are pretty epic looking. Let's take a peek:

cap-ten custom pc

This case is by modder Cap-Ten, featuring an MSI MPG Z2390i motherboard, Intel processor, and a GTX 1070.

This one is from Mickee, a modder from the Philippines and is said to be inspired by a weapon from a character in the game Apex Legends. No specifics on what powers it, unfortunately.

USA-based modder Ron Lee Christinason brings us the time traveler, a custom design by steampunk and sci-fi genres. It's certainly extremely elaborate looking. Like all the other ones at Zadak's booth, it's unclear if this is just a cool case or if there's a working machine behind it.

This last one at the Zadak booth is from Taiwan-based modder AK and is yet again inspired by the game Apex Legends.

This one comes from ElmorLabs and apparently doubles as a Heineken beer keg of sorts. It's pretty freaking cool and yet has some pretty high-end specs including nitrogen gas cooling and an Intel Core i9-9900k processor.

JPModified's custom PC runs on a Core i7-8700k and while not as impressive as the previous, is still really cool looking.

Lastly we have a custom rig from AImask. This one has an i9-9900k CPU and a custom in-house water cooling system from AImask.
