Earlier this month HTC announced the One M9 Prime Camera Edition, which itself was basically just a rebranding of the 2015 mid-range HTC One M9s. Now it seems that a new variant of the device has been announced for India, dubbed the HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition. What does that "plus" mean for the new variant? Honestly, there's very little different.
The M9 Prime Camera Edition features a 5-inch 1080p Super LCD display with Gorilla Glass, a 2GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 4-megapixel front camera, BoomSound speakers, and a 2,840mAh battery. In contrast, the M9+ Prime Camera Edition gets bumped up to a 5.2-inch 1080p display and adds a fingerprint scanner. Yep, that's it. Innovation at its finest.

For HTC fans, whether the M9+ PCE is worth getting or not will likely come down to how much they are willing to spend, as the HTC 10 and 10 Lifestyle are certainly more appealing options if tight finances are less of concern.
