We've already had a peek at what might be the OnePlus 7T, and it seems to have a lot in common with the OnePlus 7 (which in turn had a lot in common with the OnePlus 6T). Now, the phone's specs may have just leaked, and it looks like a pretty substantial upgrade in many ways.
The alleged specs come via prolific tipster Ishan Agarwal on Twitter, claiming a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB to 256GB of storage, and a 3,800mAh battery.
#OnePlus7T and 7T Pro launching on 26 Sep in Delhi
OP7T Info:
-8+128GB & 8+256GB, Frosted Silver & Haze Blue
-6.55″ 2K Super AMOLED 90hz Display with Smaller Notch
-SD855+
-3800mAH Battery
-48MP+16MP+12MP Camera, 16MP Front, 960FPS 10 Sec. SlowMo, Wide Angle Video and Nightscape pic.twitter.com/0LWK8uLcG9— Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) August 29, 2019
The screen might be the biggest upgrade though, as the company is tipped to deliver a 6.55-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone screen apparently has a notch, but the refresh rate and resolution puts it on a similar footing to the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Previous leaks also showed a triple rear camera setup, and it's now believed that the OnePlus 7T will offer a 48MP+12MP+16MP rear camera trio. One of the cameras is set to be an ultra-wide angle shooter (presumably the 16MP camera). There's no word if the third sensor is a telephoto lens, but it would offer the most flexibility.
Agarwal also notes that the phone will offer 960fps super slow-motion, but this is likely interpolated. After all, 48MP sensors don't actually have the super-fast DRAM needed for native 960fps.
Finally, the leaker notes a September 26 launch for the OnePlus 7T and Pro model in India. This lines up with a previous claim by fellow tipster Max J. Would you buy the OnePlus 7T? Give us your thoughts below!
