Update, March 31: The LG G4 is available again from BuyDig on eBay for $289.99.
Original post, March 21: The LG G4 may not be the newest flagship on the market, but it's still a sturdy performer with some top notch features. It's even better if you can grab the phone at a discount, and $290 is quite a steal for a handset that's not quite a year old.
eBay retailer buydig is offering the 32GB unlocked LG G4 for $289.99 including free shipping for US customers. That's a decent $90 (23 percent) saving off the regular retail price. Not only that, but the seller is throwing in two back covers with the order, giving you the choice of either black or red leather back options.
The model on sale is the unlocked US variant (US991), which means that it should run on all the major US networks, including AT&T, Tmobile, Verizon, and Sprint. The spec sheet says that the modem works with LTE Bands 2/4/5/12/13/17/25, CDMA 800/1900 MHz, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz, and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, so you can double check that these bands are supported by your carrier before purchase.
To jog your memory, the LG G4 comes with a 5.5-inch QHD LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 16 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, a removable 3,000mAh battery, and a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
