Samsung's flagship handsets certainly don't come cheap, especially the larger memory variants. However, eBay seller "breed" has a rather good deal on a 128GB Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925v) right now, which can be yours for just $469.99 with free shipping.
Being the G925v variant means that this is the Verizon model of the S6 Edge, so the supported network bands are slightly different than other models. That said, the phone is unlocked and will work on AT&T and T-Mobile GSM networks as well as Verizon, but the seller notes that it isn't compatible with Sprint at all and it might not work with 4G LTE on all networks everywhere. Here's a list of the supported bands if you want to double check with your carrier (note the limited LTE options):
- 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
- 4G: LTE 13/4/2 (700/1700/1900 MHz)
Although it's no longer Samsung's latest flagship, the Galaxy S6 Edge is still a compelling purchase, especially at this price. For your money, the handset offers a 5.1-inch QHD curved AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 16 MP rear and 5 MP front camera combination, and a 2,600mAh battery on board. Remember that there's 128GB of internal storage with this model, so you probably won't miss that absent microSD card slot.
The seller has both black and white colors options in stock right now. If the deal seems tempting, click the button below to head on over to eBay before the stock runs out.
