Samsung's Galaxy S7 is undoubtedly one of the best handsets ever released by the company, but there's a rather hefty price tag to pay if you want to own one. Fortunately, eBay store 232tech is selling a 32GB unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F for a very reasonable $599.99. That's a whopping 25 percent off the list price of $800.
As with most of these notable discounts there's usually a slight catch, and this offer is no different. The unlocked SM-G930F variant on sale here is the European global model, so it won't work with a US charger. You do get the Exynos 8890 processor with the custom Samsung Exynos M1 CPU cores though, and the rest of the handset's core specifications remain the same as the US models.
However, this also means that network compatibility will be hit and miss, so definitely cross compare your carrier's bands against the handset's capabilities before making a decision. Supported bands are as follows:
- 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
- 4G: LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 17(700), 18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 26(850)
A little research using frequencycheck suggests that AT&T and T-Mobile will work with up to 4G speeds for the most part, as will a selection of smaller carriers. But Sprint, Verizon, Boost, and US Cellular won't work reliably, if at all, with this Galaxy S7 model. So be forewarned.
If you've double checked against your carrier of choice, the seller has the Galaxy S7 currently available in black, gold, and silver color options. Remember, you can always check out our review and in-depth coverage if you want to learn more about the handset.
